About us

Grenada's easygoing scooter rental

We're a small, family-run team who know Grenada inside out, and there's nothing we like more than helping you go find it on two wheels.

Our story

Family-run, and here for the long ride

Island Ride started in 2016 on Deponthieu Street in St. George's, and we've been renting scooters to visitors and locals ever since. More than 10 years on, we're still a family business that treats every rider like a guest.

Every scooter in our fleet is properly serviced and cared for, so you can set off with confidence. No online payment, no deposits to wire, no fine print. You book, you show up, we hand you the keys.

Most of all, we know Grenada, and we love sending people off to the good spots. Ask us about the best beaches, the prettiest coastal roads or where to stop for lunch — helping you explore is the part we enjoy the most.

A helmet comes with every rental at no extra cost, and we always recommend wearing it.

Ride safe

A few notes for riding in Grenada

Just a bit of local know-how to keep every ride an easy one.

  • Keep left

In Grenada you ride on the left-hand side of the road — take a moment to settle in before you set off.

  • Always wear your helmet

It's included with every scooter. Pop it on for every ride, however short.

  • Mind the weather

Watch for changing road conditions and sudden island rain, and slow right down when it's wet.

  • Ride sober, ride easy

Never ride under the influence, and take the hills and bends gently — there's no rush on island time.
