Rides worth making
Each is an easy trip from the shop. Follow the coast, take your time, and see the island the way locals do.
Grand Anse Beach
St. George's, ride time ~10 min ride
Grenada's most famous stretch of sand: two miles of soft white beach and warm, clear water on the sheltered south coast. It is only about ten minutes from the shop, which makes it the perfect place to break in your scooter on day one.

Annandale Falls
St. George Parish, ride time ~25 min ride
A 30-foot waterfall that spills into a cool pool ringed by rainforest and tropical flowers. It is one of the easiest falls to reach on the island, with barely any walking once you park up, so you can be swimming within minutes of arriving.

Grand Étang Lake
Central Highlands, ride time ~35 min ride
A still crater lake set high in Grenada's misty central rainforest, wrapped in hiking trails and home to the island's playful mona monkeys. The winding climb up the Grand Étang road is a treat on its own, and the Crox takes it in stride.

Fort Frederick
Richmond Hill, ride time ~15 min ride
An 18th-century hilltop fort on Richmond Hill with what many call the best view on the island: St. George's harbour, the south coast, and the green hills all laid out below. Come late in the afternoon and stay for the sunset.

Morne Rouge (BBC) Beach
South Coast, ride time ~12 min ride
A quieter, more sheltered cove tucked just around the headland from Grand Anse. The water is calm and shallow and the crowd is smaller, which makes it an easy, relaxed add-on to a south-coast beach day.

Gouyave Fishing Town
St. John Parish, ride time ~40 min ride
A lively west-coast fishing town best known for Fish Friday, its weekly street party of fresh-grilled seafood and music. Getting there is half the fun, with the coast road serving up one sea view after another the whole way.

A cluster of giant boulders high above Grenada's north coast, reached by a short but steep hike from the road. The payoff at the top is huge: sweeping views over Levera, the little offshore islands, and Carriacou on a clear day. Ride north, then earn the view on foot.

Founded in 1785, this is Grenada's oldest rum distillery, and it still runs on the only working water wheel left in the Caribbean. Nearly every step is done by hand the old way. Ride the scenic northeast coast, tour the mill, and finish with a tasting of the famous overproof rum.

St. Patrick, ride time ~1 hr 10 min ride
A clifftop site above Sauteurs at Grenada's northern tip, where in 1651 the island's last Kalinago people leapt into the sea rather than surrender to French colonists. It is a quiet, moving place with wide views out over the water toward the northern islands, and the coastal ride up is half the reward.
